My very talented sister-in-law, Tricia Treacy's letterpress studio, Pointed Press was featured on Printeresting. Check it out! Tricia just renovated her space to start doing larger production runs. I can't wait to collaborate with her. I have so many ideas I am going to explode! How cool would my florals look pressed? Stay tuned!

Tricia is also an accomplished book artist, her books can be found in collections around the country. Great feature Tricia!

I am about to start experimenting with my work. I am going to dig out my acrylics and try playing with some mixed media pieces. I am feeling a time of expansion coming on and am both happy and scared about it because with growth comes pain. It will be a good pain though… hopefully.

I am also working on a new woodburning that I am excited about. I wasn't sure what to paint so, I decided to recreate one of my existing paintings. The first step of wood burning is finished, next is the painting with casein paints.

I can't wait to see how it turns out.

I am off to work. We had a wintry mix here this morning so I was able to hang out at home a bit this morning. Loved it! Now I have to go out into the ice and cold. Enjoy your day!
